Furniture Donations
We try to provide the best possible furniture to our clients, believing that offering them high quality items is an important part of re-building their dignity and self respect. For this reason we do not give the furniture away, but we charge nominal prices so individuals can feel they have ownership of the items and are not just receiving a handout.
This means that we cannot accept items unless they are suitable for our clients' needs, or are able to be sold through our Furniture Shop to raise funds for CCA.
Please note that
ALL furniture donations
need to go through the
Furniture Donation Desk:
Phone 0118 951 2338
or email
A viewing will be arranged when our van crews come to look at the furniture. If we can use the items we will normally take them away at the same time.
We cannot accept any donations at the Furniture Shop on Northumberland Avenue except by prior arrangement,
Sadly, due to Covid 19 we are not able to collect our usual full range of furniture items.
We are currently only collecting bedframes and mattresses.
These items can only be collected from the doorstep or from vacant premises, garages or storage units.
We look forward to being able to resume collecting other items after the lockdown.
Please contact us to discuss if we are able to accept your items.
